About Me

I have always been drawn to Jungian archetypes, mythology, and the hero’s journey… first as an avid reader, then as a teacher of both English and history. I was raised in a devout Mormon household, and I first learned to make sense of myself and the world around me through archetypal storytelling. The Mormon worldview is full of signs and symbols, and I was taught to look for them and to find meaning in dreams, in words, and in the way events unfolded.

Eventually, the internal scaffolding of Mormonism fell away, and I went through a period of time in which I experienced not only an absence of belief but also an absence of meaning and of belonging to a story bigger than myself.

I discovered astrology in my mid 40s, as I was going through a series of major life stresses and challenges: divorce, launching a new career, and sending my youngest child off to school. It became a powerful tool for meaning-making in my own life, and I soon began to study it intensely.

For me, astrology is a mirror. It is a framework that invites me to look at the recurring symbols in my own life and ask what they might be trying to teach me.

My Approach

By day, I’m a high school history teacher, and that naturally shapes how I approach astrology. Teaching, for me, isn’t about lecturing—it’s about collaboration. My role isn’t to tell you what your chart means or to dictate your life path. Instead, I see astrology as a co-creative process: a conversation, and an exploration. My job is to guide you in seeing yourself more clearly, to help you recognize the patterns shaping your life, and to support you as you make your own meaning.

More than anything, I want people to feel seen. The best astrology readings aren’t just intellectually interesting—they create a space for self-recognition and for naming things that may have always been felt but never fully articulated. I bring warmth, openness, and an intuitive approach to each session, meeting you where you are and offering insights that resonate with your unique experience.

Astrology isn’t about fate, it’s about awareness. When we understand the archetypal forces at play in our lives, we step into greater agency, choice, and self-acceptance. My goal is to help you uncover what’s already within you because ultimately, you’re the one writing your own story.
